“Noir-Blanc” meaning “Black and White” is a metaphor for how we view ideas. Ideas shape the world we live in. However, they usually don’t come fully formed. We like to imagine ideas like black markings on a white board, or a rough sketch in black and white. Because though they may reflect the artist’s vision to an extent, an idea is hardly the finished article.
