Afolake Legacy Project
Context
The Afolake Legacy Project is a registered non-profit under the Badara Kafaru Foundation founded by Madam Afolake Bello. The mandate of this project is to empower the Nigerian youth population with skills and training, equipping them to be stronger pillars of society and contributors to national economic growth. The project has partnered with other organizations in the past to fund multiple skill acquisition initiatives in Nigeria.
Noir Blanc Effects had the privilege of building a website to create more awareness around their campaigns and an avenue for their community to get involvement through volunteering and crowd-funding.
Objectives
- Design and build a visually-engaging and emotive website interface
- Incorporate a digital photo album / gallery and media archive to depict their activity over the years.
- Embed volunteer forms to enlist willing visitors as volunteers
- Incorporate a blog page, projects and causes page
- Develop documentation to assist client with site management
Results
The final product of our effort was a beautiful and functional website that incorporated captivating on-scroll animations and hover interactions. Our choice of typography also added to the emotive tone of the website interface. The website content was also optimized for strong search engine visibility, and the client was hgihly satisfied with the results.
